Michigan basketball thatch in Aug outing to Spain

On Aug. 17, a summer division during a University of Michigan ends — and a outing to Spain for a men’s basketball group begins.
The group will spend time in Barcelona and Madrid before returning to Ann Arbor on Aug. 26.
“Having a event to take a outing like this is going to make for a durability memory for a players,” Michigan manager John Beilein said. “We are authorised to make these trips once each 4 years, so this will be a third outing in my time during Michigan. Each outing has proven to be a smashing educational knowledge for a student-athletes.
“This will be a good event to learn about a Spanish culture, as good as bond and grow together as a team.”

The Wolverines will take partial in 3 muster games during their time in Spain. The group will accept 10 additional practices to ready for a trip.

Prior to a 2018 outing to Spain, Beilein took Michigan’s basketball group abroad to Belgium in 2010 and Italy in 2014. The subsequent outing will be authorised in 2022.
The women’s basketball group went to Greece and Italy final summer. Meanwhile, a football group went to France final spring.
